CAKE JARS

We've spent a lot of time perfecting  cake---from the ingredients that go into them, to the process of baking them, to how they are decorated, and especially that amazing buttercream on top.  Our cake flavors have garnered quite the following and the one thing we love is to be asked to ship them to our customers' loved ones so they can share the memories.  We got to work and created a Sugar Path cake you can now take with you.

Our cake jars were created to be portable.  We start with a lightweight, food-safe, non-breakable container.  We then fill it with layers of our popular cake flavors and our creamy buttercream.  The same great cake flavors you have come to love, now in portable form.  The jars have screw on lids so if you don't eat all your cake at one sitting you can just put on the lid and save it for later.  If you're watching your diet but still want a sweet treat (which you deserve!) this is a great option.  Take a couple bites of cake,  then save some for later.  Unlike a cupcake, cake in a jar stays moist for days.

Buy cake and throw a party!

Throw the portable cake jar in your purse, briefcase or backpack and take it out when you want to eat it.  If you have leftovers, put the lid back on and save it for later.  If you don't have any leftover, recycle the container or bring it home and re-use it.  

How great is this???

Currently we have nine flavors and two sizes: 4 oz and 8 oz.  The cake and buttercream frosting are the same we serve in our shop:  all natural using local ingredients and no preservatives.  The cakes are ready to eat.  

Because we do not use preservatives, the shelf life of our cake jars is ten days from the date of purchase.  You may freeze the jars to extend the shelf life.

Just as if you had come into the shop and purchased a whole cake or cupcake, your cake jar also contains perishable food.  Cake doesn't last forever---unless you put a bunch of fake chemical stuff in it (which we don't). The jars are meant to be consumed within ten days of the date it leaves our shop.  They do not require refrigeration (but hey, if you like cold cake then feel free to chill it!)  If you want the best experience, please bring to room temperature to eat (Buttercream is made from butter and butter gets hard when cold).
